FC-325 Series Relays

Hermetically sealed units designed for harsh inductive, motor, and lamp applications in aerospace, defense and marine markets.

TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, announced today its new CII FC-325 Series relay. Designed for harsh inductive, motor and lamp load applications within the aerospace, defense and marine markets, these hermetically sealed devices are excellent for extreme environments.

The CII FC-325 Series is a 3-pole, 25 AMP, non-latching hermetically sealed relay that is all welded, lightweight and boasts a higher capacity design than similar balanced armature versions.

“Configured as a 3PST/NO (DM), the double make/break contact design of the CII FC-325 Series offers higher capability than comparable relays in the market, as it shares the load across two contact sets, resulting in less wear and tear on the relay,” said Susan Clark, product manager, Global Aerospace, Defense & Marine, TE Connectivity. “In addition, by utilizing an all welded design, instead of solder-sealing, we reduce the chances of introducing FOD or leaking atmosphere”.

Qualified to MS27418 specifications, the CII FC-325 Series relays have a 1.5-inch corrosion-protected cube enclosure and weigh 0.452 lbs. Designed to excel in harsh environments, these devices are suitable for applications such as commercial and military aircraft, weapons systems, launch systems, ground support equipment, fuel pumps, galley equipment, and missiles among numerous additional platforms. Both solder hook and terminal block configurations are available. Special variations of this product are available upon request.
