HARTMAN Products: Light weight, hermetically sealed
Our HARTMAN relays and contactors are engineered to switch electrical power in aerospace and space applications, including airplanes, space shuttles, and deep space probes. Light weight and environmentally (gasket) sealed, our HARTMAN AC and DC contactors are designed to meet the applicable requirements of MIL-PRF-6106 and/or specific customer specifications. Light weight and environmentally sealed, they excel in severe conditions or altitudes above 50,000 feet, offering multiple contact configurations.
Our HARTMAN smart AC contactors bring intelligence to aircraft power distribution while reducing SWaP — size, weight, and power consumption - with small, lightweight solutions ranging from 5 KVA to 150 KVA and beyond. Space is always at a premium, and weight savings translate into better fuel economy, longer flight range, and increased cargo capacity. Similarly, lowering power consumption throughout the distribution can save weight and space. Less power dissipation allows for lighter, more efficient systems. Our HARTMAN smart AC contactors are engineered for intelligent sensing, with one turnkey package for sensing, trip protection, and remote power switching. These products are designed for reliability: High fidelity sensing embedded within a reliable power switching package, with a broad spectrum of functions such as over-current, over/under voltage, and phase imbalance. These include rapid detection and isolation of disruptive faults keep main bus power online and mitigation of nuisance tripping with proper filtering of capacitive inrush.
HARTMAN Products for Space
Our HARTMAN line of products are designed for use in the Space Industry. Since 1902, our HARTMAN relays, contactors, and switching devices have been associated with quality electrical performance. The N-Series relays offer highly reliable switching for 115 Volt AC and 28 Vdc circuits. These units are available with multiple contact configurations, latching or non-latching operating modes, and with current ratings up to 100 amperes and are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-PRF6106. Theses parts are ITAR restricted.
