Reliable and Efficient PCB Quick Connects
Quick connect terminals are used to simplify assembly of wire-to-board systems and, for these applications, TE offers tab and receptacle products that mount directly to the printed circuit board (PCB). They come in a variety of designs to meet application specific requirements, including a range of tab sizes, loose piece and strip form versions, contacts with or without stabilizers, and reflow solder compatible products. The quick connects enable design flexibility with multiple wire termination options and they support more cost-efficient system modification by allowing transfer of previously terminated wires to updated PCB layouts. PCB terminals can be manually attached or can be inserted using fully or semi-automatic equipment.
