1

How did you get involved and interested in engineering?

From an early age I have been interested in what makes things work and learning the both the why and how of every system. It is not uncommon for me to spend hours learning multiple ways to solve the same problem even if all the solutions are not needed.

2

Which connectivity challenges are you working to solve?

I am intersted in the smallest profile connectors with the most rugged performance levels seen in the market at a price most customers can not believe.

3

What changes do you expect to see in your industry over the next 5 years?

As size comes down and performance levels go up the manufacturing technologies required to hold the tolerances necessary to perform become increasingly complex. Finding the balance of price to performance for all customer applications becomes important. Moving toward 3D printed designs offer a very promising avenue of development that TE is in a unique position to offer thorugh our industry leading engineering leadership.

4

When you're not working, what is a favorite hobby or pastime you enjoy?

Clint is an avid craftsman and outdoors enthusiest. He volunteers in various leadship roles within Boy Scouts of America as well as deisgning and building his own wooden furniture.
