TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, introduces the Dynamic Mini Series of connectors for signal transmission on PCBs. The new series of connectors are designed to be compact, as their name suggests, providing valuable space savings on the board for other components. As manufacturers need to comply with smaller and smaller applications, being able to use reliable connectors that take up a smaller surface space helps them keep up with industry miniaturization without sacrificing quality.

“The new series is smaller than our existing Dynamic D1000 series, but they demonstrate the same level of performance with their conformity to LV 214 test requirements,” says Bella Jing, product manager at TE Connectivity. “With the introduction of the Dynamic Mini Series, we are staying on-trend with industry miniaturization while being able to offer our customers a complete portfolio for both big and small applications.”

Small applications, big power

  • Simplifies installation for service engineers by incorporating a positive audible locking feature.
  • Expedited assembly time and lower total cost by housing in high-temperature nylon to enable reflow soldering.
  • Enhanced reliability thanks to their “second lock” design.

The new connectors have a current rating of 3A and a rated voltage of 250V. They accept wire gauges from 22 to 26 AWG. They come in versions with 12, 16 and 20 positions, with a pitch of 1.80mm.
