• Connected Vehicles/V2X Communication

Dr. Christian Rusch is an expert in high-speed data connectivity for automotive applications and is regularly sought to comment on the trend of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connectivity and the increasing exchange of data between cars and other vehicles and their surroundings.

In his role as Senior Manager, R&D Engineering, Data Communication for TE’s Global Automotive business unit, Christian works closely with OEMs around the world to assist them in implementing new connectivity features to improve vehicle safety and efficiency.

He joined TE in 2014 and in addition to his current role, he has also served in Automotive Infotainment product development and engineering positions.  Earlier in his career, he worked at organizations including ALSOM Power Generation AG, and Philips Semiconductors.

Christian earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Communications Engineering from Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften - University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and a Doctorate degree in Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Christian has produced many academic publications and earned a number of awards, including the ESoA 2nd Best Student Award, Gothenburg, Sweden, issued by the 7th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation in 2013.
