Marc Schillgalies currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering overseeing product development for industrial and medical sensors at TE Connectivity. 

In 2019, he became an integral part of the TE family through the acquisition of Germany-based First Sensor AG, where he held the position of Vice President of Development, leading the company's development engineering department. Prior to this, he played pivotal roles in engineering management and product management since joining First Sensor in 2010 in Berlin, Germany. Before his tenure at First Sensor, Marc worked as a development engineer and project manager for Osram Opto Semiconductor's laser development in Regensburg.

He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Steinbeis University, a Master's Degree in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, and both a PhD and Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Leipzig.
