Biography

Eric is a leader in E-mobility product management for TE’s Industrial and Commercial Transportation business.  In that role, he is responsible for the development and management of the organization’s products that aid in the conversion from internal combustion engines to electric powertrains in heavy-duty trucks, and agricultural, construction, and recreational vehicles.

He is an engineer by trade with degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Technische Hochschule Lübeck in Germany, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the US, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Engineering Management from Graduate School Rhein Neckar in Germany.
In his role, he oversees TE’s HIVONEX product line of connectors and charging solutions for E-mobility applications and during his tenure he helped to introduce the new PowerTube series, which is particularly suited for high-voltage applications in demanding commercial vehicle environments.

Since joining TE in 2014, he has also held product management and product development roles for Automotive sensors, and earlier in his career he also worked with Rockwell Collins, Helbako Gmbh, and Mando Corporation.

Eric is originally from the United States and currently resides in Switzerland.
