Our new DEUTSCH PCB extended-tail contacts can help you decrease weight and improve system reliability in aerospace and defense applications. The extended tail contacts improve performance by replacing a separable interface with a more reliable soldered interconnection.

TE has hundreds of different sizes and types of extended-tail contacts – in sizes 24 through 8 – available for common applications, such as MIL-DTL-38999 and EN connectors. Custom contacts may also be tailored for unique designs by specifying the contact diameter, shoulder extension length, bend angle, and overall length. They are available with tin and RoHS-compliant tin plating.
