Barrier Strips

A barrier strip is an interconnect consisting of connectors or screws, and a metal strip. Barrier strip style terminal blocks prevent electrical shorts between positions on the same block as well as adjacent components. This allows for both connection and termination of wires. Barrier strips are made in three main types: Dual Barrier, Double Row, and Tri-Barrier, all of which are available to be made in a number of standard centerline spacings.
