Our poke-in connectors are designed for wire-to-board connector systems. The connectors solder to the printed circuit board (PCB) then wire is inserted to make the connection. Our true poke-In connectors make a termination by removing the wire insulation and inserting the wire to the connector for a reliable wire to board connection. These power pokes are our smallest connection type in the category. We also manufacture an IDC offering. Our larger IDC connector solder attaches to the PCB by thru-hole or SMT soldering, then a IDC termination pierces the wire insulation to connect the wire to the PCB. These components are part of our Buchanan WireMate family of products.
