SSMA RF Connectors

Our SSMA RF connectors are a type of coaxial connector and are a smaller version of our SMA connectors. These operate up to 35 GHz and can be extended up to 40 GHz, making them suitable use in high-speed data transfer applications. These screw-on connectors have a 10-36 threaded coupling. SSMA (SubMiniature version A) connectors are a space-saving alternative to SMA connectors and are used in high frequency applications such as RF and microwave systems and high-speed data transfer applications. SSMA connectors have a robust construction and are made of materials that include brass and stainless steel, which provide durability and reliability. These connectors are also versatile, being compatible with a range of coaxial cables, and these are available in a range of sizes, including 50 ohm and 75 ohm versions. Their threaded coupling mechanism offers reliability when used in rugged designs. SSMA connectors are commonly used in mil-aero, telecommunications, RFID, antennas, radar systems, and test and measurement applications.
