Our innovative scalable family of spring fingers is available in heights from 1.0mm to 3.8mm. All these types can be mounted onto one single footprint, so the product can be easily swapped when the design change is required.

• The preload function nearly doubles the working area of a common spring finger and increases contact force by 0.2N.
• The dimple on the contact enhances the contact force.
• The backward-vended tip prevents hooking.
• The pick-and-place area supports auto-assembly processes.
• The holes increase soldering strength and reduce solder wicking issues.

While TE’s portfolio of spring fingers is the largest in the market, we are adding new side-protected scalable spring fingers to address common customer issues around problems that occur when large quantities of spring fingers are used.

The new, enhanced sidewall design prevents springs from being tangled by operator gloves and avoids deflection during PCB transfer.

All our spring fingers require very limited space on a printed circuit board and accommodate soldering as well as pick and place using standard equipment.
