Power PCB Relays with Top Mounted Quick Connect Tabs for Load Connections

TE Connectivity's space-saving RZF relays are printed circuit board relays with top mounted quick connect tabs for load connections. This permits the load current to be kept off the board. With a lower profile than some similar relays and ratings up to 16A, RZF relays may be suitable for microwave ovens, water heaters, electric cooking ranges, vending machines, and other industrial/commercial applications.

Designed for applications where it is desirable to keep load currents up to 16A off the PC board (PCB), RZF single-pole, normally open relays offer top-mounted quick connect tabs for load connections. With a mounted height of only 27.6 mm (1.09 in) including tabs, the RZF relay has a lower profile than similar competitive relays. This saves valuable space above the PCB and permits a cover or other component to be placed closed to the PCB. Production on a fully automated line helps to assure a high level of consistent quality and also helps to hold down cost. Compliance with IEC 60335-1, 5th edition, supports applicability in home appliances.
