Battery and Power Cables
Power trip. TE's battery and power cables are designed for in-vehicle power distribution in high temperature applications. The cables carry several hundred Amps, resist abrasion and cut-through damage, vehicle fluids and extreme temperatures.
High-temperature routing solutions. Our battery and power cables have to be routed through high-temperature areas within a vehicle. The cables carry several hundred Amps, resist abrasion and cut-through damage, vehicle fluids and extreme temperature. The Raychem cables provide a cost-effective solution between 150° C and 200° C. for high strand count conductors or flexible insulation materials. The cables offer easy handling and provide a high level of flexibility in required fluoroelastomer insulated power cables.

Primary Wire - T4 (150°C)
TE's Raychem T4 automotive composite wire (ACW) is 150° C rated, provides a class D thin-wall, mechanically robust and has a composite wire for engine harness applications. This outer layer is bonded to a radiation cross-linked polyolefin. The unique bonding gives the additional benefit for improvements in the mechanical performance of the wire along with the capability to be terminated using recognized industry standards. The wires provide smaller, lighter and more flexible options, providing easy installation.
