Conflict Minerals
The SEC defines Conflict Minerals as tin (Sn), tungsten (W), tantalum (Ta) and gold (Au). These four minerals are collectively referred to as 3TG.
Our Approach
TE is committed to the driving intent behind Section 1502 of the Dodd Frank Wall Street and Consumer Protection Act, and in assuring ethical sourcing for its customers. As an SEC registrant, TE Connectivity complies with the SEC regulations requiring supply chain reporting and reasonable due diligence with respect to the sourcing of Conflict Minerals and the products in which they are contained. TE recognizes its obligation to provide our customers with the same information we collect from our supply base, offering corporate transparency and enabling customers to meet their own respective SEC reporting requirements.
