TE Connectivity Ltd. (TE) (NYSE: TEL), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, announced today the launch of its DEUTSCH 369 series panel-mount connectors. As an extension to the existing 369 series product line, this connector allows easy, fast mounting to a LRU panel, bracket, chassis or frame.
TE’s DEUTSCH 369 series connectors provide a range of high-reliability, lightweight, compact and cost-efficient connectors suited to harsh aerospace environments. Boeing BACC qualified, this series is particularly suited to civil aerospace cabin systems applications. The connectors have been designed to meet today’s tightening industry regulations and Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS) best practices, and the series is one of the most versatile and complete connector offerings on the market today.
“The new connector series has a simple and effective new design that enables the reliable 369 connectors to be mounted onto panels and brackets,” said Gary Bannister, TE global product manager. “Our customers are continually looking for creative new ways to install the 369 connector series.”
The new panel-mount connectors have the ability to mount in seconds, suit multiple panel thicknesses, accept the use of standard 369 wire strain-relief backshell and require no fasteners, featuring an anti-rattle panel gasket.
The product’s rectangular shape permits space-efficient stacking and remains fully compatible with the standard 369 series connectors. The electrical interfaces are fully sealed for use in areas with high levels of moisture, using cork-in-bottle and triple wire seal technology. High performance composite materials help meet the low smoke, toxicity and flammability requirements of the aerospace industry.
