Overview
The copper alloy tip is attached to a flex armor sheath. This allows for increased accuracy and sensitivity to temperature changes at the point of contact in bearings. The design also provides great mounting flexibility. The bayonet adaptor allows for a simple and inexpensive spring loaded installation option. The sensor is ideal for applications with solids, it is not for use in fluid applications. This thermocouple sensor comes standard with a 1/8” NPT mounting adaptor for ease of locking the sensor in place. The bayonet holder is fully adjustable over the entire specified “L” or immersion length.
