RF Contacts save space and weight
RF contacts provide shielding protection within a connector as well as the RF performance that the application circuitry can require. Compared to the use of individual coaxial or shielded connectors, RF contacts in a connector offer savings in space and weight without causing cross-mating difficulties. RF contacts can be mixed within a connector to meet special signal needs.
