IDC RAST 2.5 with Through Hole Design
Monoplug 2.5 connectors meeting RAST standards are insulation displacement contact (IDC) products engineered for easy assembly of complex wire-to-board systems. The connectors feature a through hole design that supports daisy chain, pass through or bus applications, while also eliminating the need for a separate cover. Depending on the scale of production, Monoplug 2.5 connectors can be processed with a variety of applicator tools, including basic bench tools, semi-automatic termination equipment or highly automated harness making machines. The printed circuit board (PCB) connectors are available in standard through hole (T/H) or edge mount versions and may be fully or selectively loaded.
