Extremely Shock and Vibration Resistant Plunger Switches
Plunger switches operate with little physical force. When the plunger/actuator is pressed, it either opens or closes the electrical circuit turning the device which is powered on or off. Each plunger switch contains a spring and a set of contacts that convert mechanical energy applied to an actuator into an electrical output. Our plunger switches are extremely shock and vibration resistant and are designed to permit both vertical and angular actuation. We offer a wide variety of plunger configuration options depending on your needs.
KISSLING Plunger Limit Switches
Our KISSLING Series 44 plunger switches have been engineered to meet even the most difficult operating requirements. Our plunger portfolio includes switches ranging from 10 mA to 16 A and from 9 to 32 VDC. They meet or exceed the IP67/IP69K standard and are resistant against most oils, fuels, hydraulic, dust, and solvents. Our KISSLING plunger switches have been tested to a minimum of over 4 million mechanical cycles; some models have tested at up to 10 million cycles.
The electronic versions of the plunger switches are designed for 5 VDC (direct connection to ECU) and are available with a wide variety of configuration options including contact configurations (NO; NC) and electrical connection alternatives, as well as various plunger geometries and plunger travel distances.
Because of their reliability, our KISSLING position switches are used in various applications, including conveyor systems, drivetrains & transmissions, military specialized commercial vehicles, industrial equipment and marine application.
