Specialty Heat Shrink Tubing

BSTS heat-shrinkable tubing is made of a rugged polymer that resists moisture, fungus, and weathering. It also has excellent electrical properties. This tubing is useful in applications where insulation, abrasion resistance, and strain relief are important. When used with sealant tape (S-1305 for flame-retardant or S-1278 for non-flame-retardant), it can provide a watertight system in non-pressurized applications.

With a 2:1 shrink ratio, this flexible tubing is flame-retardant and chemical- and abrasion-resistant. It uses system 25 tubing specially formulated for optimum high-temperature fluid resistance and long term heat resistance.

Offering rapid and simple installation, this tubing has a mechanically tough outer jacket for excellent strain relief, abrasion protection, vibration, and flexing. Its PD caps provide a splash-resistant, moisture resistant covering (not intended for full immersion in a fluid). Designed to provide mechanical and environmental protection of stub splices in electrical harnesses; offers 3:1 shrink ratio (PD Caps) and 4:1 shrink ratio (ES Caps).

HFT5000 tubing is woven from polyethylene and polyester materials and is halogen-free. Its tightly woven filaments provide excellent abrasion resistance, while also resisting the trapping of water, heat and humidity within the tubing.

This heat shrinkable water-blocking system is designed to provide consistent sealing for cable bundles and the back of connectors. Offering excellent strain relief and noise reduction, it environmentally seals wire bundles up to 20 wires and withstands temperature excursions to 105C (Rayblock 85) and to 120C (Rayblock 105). This low-profile product is only marginally larger than the cable bundle itself.

With 2:1 shrink ratio, this high-performance flexible fluoropolymer tubing is designed for jacketing and bundling of wires to form light-duty harnesses, especially where low profile, abrasion resistance, and flexibility are needed. Highly flame-resistant, with excellent physical and electrical properties after exposure to many chemicals and solvents at 50C (not recommended to use with ketones).

Highly flame-resistance, with good mechanical strength and cut-through resistance, this clear, flexible fluoropolymer tubing is used to protect wire and cable markers subject to extreme abuse, while permitting full inspectability of each item covered. Offers 2:1 shrink ratio and exceptional clarity; designed for chemical resistance and high-temperature performance.

Tough semirigid, very thin-wall insulation product, this high-temperature, chemically resistant polyvinylidene fluoride tubing is suitable for applications requiring high temperature performance, outstanding abrasion resistance, and cut-through resistance or superior chemical and solvent properties. Offers 2:1 shrink ratio.

This highly flame-retardant, low-recovery-temperature ZEROHAL tubing is recommended for commercial electronics, rail and mass transit, automotive, elevators, and construction industries. With a 2:1 shrink ratio, and essentially free of Halogens, it uses X2 as a thin wall, flexible polyolefin tubing and X4 as a very thin wall, very flexible polyolefin tubing.
