Our d-connectors are compact pin and socket connectors designed to transmit power and signal in communications equipment, especially in high-density packages. These connectors are commonly used to connect computer monitors to personal computers as well as for connecting peripheral devices. Our D-Shaped connectors can address the rugged performance requirements of commercial and military applications. We manufacture DB9 connectors (9-pin dsub connector), DB15 connectors (15-pin dsub connector), and DB25 (25-pin dsub connector). Our D-Shaped connectors are produced as female connectors and male connectors. AMPLIMITE Military Subminiature D Connectors are suited for applications such as military equipment, ground support devices, computer peripheral equipment, modems, and industrial instrumentation. We offer a complete selection of standard military subminiature D-type connectors and special application versions such as connectors which mix power/coax cavities with size 20 signal contacts; feed-through connectors which provide a disposable interface for high use applications; and special non-magnetic connectors with a rubber grommet on the rear, for strain relief. Each AMPLIMITE crimp connector has metal clips which retain the pins and sockets after they are loaded into the inserts from the rear.
