Assembly Efficiency Meets Ergonomic Design
TE’s Positive Lock multi-position connector with extra low insertion force (X-LIF) terminals was developed to meet industry demands for improved manufacturing efficiency and easier part mating. The multiple position connector was designed to eliminate the inefficiency of assembling single position connectors, while the positive locking feature and error-proof asymmetrical housing prevent quality issues due to half-mating or mis-mating. The Positive Lock connector enables easy, ergonomic assembly with the combination of an innovative latch structure and F-spring terminals that require low mating force (<15N/ single position).
