HTAT Heat Shrink Tubing : Semi-flexible, dual wall and moisture resistant.
Semi-flexible, heat shrink tubing with an integrally bonded meltable adhesive inner lining designed to provide moisture proof encapsulation for a range of substrates at elevated temperatures.
Overview
Manufactured from radiation cross-linked polyole fins, the inner wall melts when heated and is forced into interstices by the shrinking of the outer wall, so that when cooled, the substrateis encapsulated by a tough, protective, moisture proof barrier.
An operating temperature range from –55 °C up to +125 °C anda high shrink ratio as standard, means that the tubing offers superior environmental protection to a wide range of irregular shapes with varying dimensions. The jacket is flame retarded to reduce flame propagation.
