RNF-150 Heat Shrink Tubing : High-Performance, Flame-Resistant, Flexible, Fluoropolymer Tubing
RNF-150 heat shrink, 2:1 shrink ratio tubing that is flexible and made from flame resistant cross-linked fluoropolymer. Approx. 40% thinner walls than other general purpose tubings. Used for jacketing wires where abrasion resistance is required.
Overview
It can be used for jacketing and bundling of wires to form light-duty harnesses, especially where a low profile, abrasion resistance, and flexibility are needed. It can also be used to provide insulation and strain relief of electrical connections and wire terminations, identification of wires, and packaging of components.
Features
- 2:1 shrink ratio.
- Operating temperature from –55°C up to +150°C.
- Minimum shrink temperature: +110°C.
- Minimum full recovery temperature: +150°C.
- RoHS/ELV compliant.
Benefits
- High flame-resistance
- Approximately 40 % thinner walls than most general purpose polyolefin tubings
- Excellent physical and electrical properties after exposure to many chemicals and solvents at 50 °C (but not recommended for use indirect contact with ketones)
- Recommended maximum temperature for use as aprimary insulator: 135 °C
- Flame retardant
