SST/SST-FR Heat Shrink Tubing : Self-Sealing, High Shrink Ratio 3:1
SST/SST-FR tubing is a semi-rigid, 3:1 shrink ratio, single wall tubing. It delivers resistance against abrasion, fluids, moisture. Also available in a flame-retardant version (SST-FR). The standard color is black, but also available in white, red, yellow, or clear.
Overview
SST provides a simple, positive splice-sealing method that offers protection under adverse environmental conditions. Tubing supplied with standard sealant provides water sealing and environmental protection in wet or underground applications.
The thermoplastic adhesive not only seals, but also provides mechanical strain relief. The polymer tubing has excellent insulating, abrasion-resistance and strain-relief properties.
