Hermetically Sealed Relays for High Performance and Harsh Environment
Our high frequency, low signal TO-5 and .100 grid relays provide signal repeatability and RF switching capabilities up to the 6 GHz microwave range. The MW series are subminiature hermetically sealed relays with through-hole and gull-wing surface mount terminal options. Additional performance features include low signal, stable insertion loss, and low VSWR. Standard or sensitive (S0) coil are offered in a range of DC input voltages. Nominal coil power is 367-500mW (model dependent) for standard coils and 169-250mW for sensitive coils. And, 2 Form C (DPDT) contacts rated low-level to 1 amp, with an extended mechanical life expectancy of 10 million operations.

High Frequency Relays
CII standard models (MW3, MW4, and MW6) perform in temperature ranges from -55°C to +85°C and withstand 10G vibration and 30G shock. High performance models (MW3HP, MW4HP and MW6HP) offer extended temperature ratings of -65°C to +125°C while providing 30G vibration and 100G shock (75G’s for MW3) environmental ratings. In our standard models, the signal isolation is 18dB at 6 GHz. (MW6/MW6HP), 18dB at 4 GHz. (MW4/MW4HP), and 22dB at 3 GHz. (MW3/ MW3HP). Additionally, the insertion loss is 0.38dB for MW6/MW6HP, 0.27dB for MW4/MW4HP, and 0.36dB for MW3/MW3HP. VSWR is a low 1.30:1 @ 6GHz. for MW6/MW6HP, 1.36:1 @ 4GHz. for MW4/ MW4HP, and 1.24:1 @ 3GHz. for MW3/MW3HP. The commercial versions of this product are available for applications ranging from wireless communications to precision high-speed electronic test equipment and computer systems. High-performance versions are available for harsh environmental conditions.

Sealed Relays
Our low signal HFW, HMB, and HMS series relay are hermetically sealed, compact, and designed for ruggedized applications like eVTOLs, LEO, MEO, and GEO satellites, launch vehicles, and MIL ground transport. This type of relay is typically used to switch load currents effectively from low level up to 2 amps. Additionally, the relay architecture allows for stable contact resistance during and post electrical life for rated contact loads such as resistive, inductive, lamp, and low level. Performance standards include high mechanical shock and vibration ratings, as well as, excellent RF switching capabilities. Optional terminal and mounting styles available, along with the availability of a latching coil option which offers our customers operating efficiency for systems with limited output. The majority of devices in this product line come in a 2 Form C contact arrangement for control of multiple circuits. Our portfolio for this relay includes models qualified to MIL-PRF-28776 and MIL-PRF-39016.
