Our Raychem OHVT-HS High Voltage Heat Shrink Self Support Terminations can operate under severe environmental conditions to meet your requirements. The termination is designed such that it is compatible with polymeric insulated cables independent of the manufacturer and can be adapted for various cable constructions.
The self-supporting insulator structure is available for heat shrink terminations up to 72 kV with different creepage lengths, covering extreme pollution levels. The insulator kit comes with an isolated base plate for sectionalizing. The metal fitting associated with the termination is manufactured from corrosion-resistant alloy. The termination is designed and tested according to IEC 60840. The insulator structure is designed and tested according to IEC 62217.
The installation of our Raychem OHVT-HS must be done by a trained installer equipped with conventional tools.
Our High Voltage Heat Shrink Self Support Terminations can be combined with our SIMAFLEX High Voltage Clamps which are designed to support and connect overhead aluminium flexible conductors to copper or aluminium equipment terminals. The mechanical connection bolts used for fixing have a diameter in the range of
30/40/50 mm.
