NEMA Base assembly designed to reduce time to market
Our Endurance N Enhanced Base is a NEMA base assembly with integrated AC/DC power supply, surge protection, relay with switching control, and energy metering interface. Compatible with ANSI C136.41 dimming receptacles, the enhanced base provides an accelerated starting point for customer-designed electronic solutions, giving them a head start on development and reducing time to market.
The streetlight control node is a platform with almost unlimited opportunities to create value through innovation, but nearly every solution must address a few common needs: mechanical mounting and sealing, surge protection, load switching, AC/DC power conversion, and an energy metering interface. With the LUMAWISE Endurance N Enhanced Base, we implement these core features in a robust, flexible, and easy to interface platform, allowing engineers and designers to focus on the business of innovation and implementing their differentiating product features without worrying where the DC power supply will come from or how to interface with the switching relay. Even for engineers experienced in the design and implementation of multi-output, isolated AC/DC power supplies, there are many pitfalls and opportunities for costly design loops throughout the development and qualification process. This is especially true when the product must consider the creepage, clearance, isolation, and emissions requirements of multiple certification and standards bodies. By offering a NEMA base with these power supply functions already implemented, the enhanced base de-risks project schedules and cost of design changes, reduces opportunity cost by enabling more value-adding innovation using the same time & designers, and streamlines supply chains, all to drive benefit of the bottom line.
